Jack and Kayleigh's rustic Devon farm wedding in July

When you think of a West Country wedding, barns, tractors and hay bales, golden maize fields and cider aplenty comes to mind. Jack and Kayleigh's wedding had it all and more!

From start to finish, there was nothing but smiles, laughter and amazing energy. Although I'm currently based in Scotland I cover all of the UK and beyond, and am always happy to travel for weddings. Devon and Somerset have a special place in my heart as I grew up in the area so it was lovely to return. The bride got ready at home with her bridesmaids, daughter and both mums and Amy Sharp MUA was on hand doing makeup for the bridal party. The lads were in a farmhouse down the lane and strolled along to the church ready for the ceremony, while the bride was picked up in a Land Rover.

Jack and Kayleigh married in a Church of England ceremony in the pretty Wambrook village chapel. Jack then drove his new wife and daughter, beautiful flower girl Poppy, to the reception in style - on his John Deere tractor of course! We also stopped off at their home for a few pictures with their beloved sheepdogs. Their reception was held in a barn at a farm in Yarcombe, which had been transformed for the day with flowers, haybales, and outdoor games for the children.

The groom's sister painted a Mr and Mrs Lawrence sign which was hoisted up by a pair of combine harvesters for the group picture to take place beneath. This involved me going up in a cherry picker to get the height needed which was really fun! The sun was out late into the evening and people mingled in the courtyard outside the barn as we nipped off for some pictures, taking in the gorgeous farm views surrounding the venue.

Kayleigh was nearly 8 months pregnant with their second gorgeous daughter, but her energy never waned all day long. Jack's dad's band, Regulation 9, turned the wedding into a private festival after dinner, playing from an open trailer and everyone was on their feet dancing and singing along. This was a true highlight of the day for me as their set was fantastic and made the wedding even more memorable. I wish this lovely family a wonderful future together, along with newest addition Rosie who joined the world a month later.

"Natalie captured our wedding day back in July, she did such an amazing job! We didn’t even know you were there, which was just perfect. Not only did you capture lots of moments we asked for, you managed to get so many lovely natural shots as well. Thank you so much, Jack and I are couldn’t be happier with what you captured! We would definitely recommend Natalie if you are wanting someone relaxed, that just goes with the flow and is just super talented ❤️"
