Jess and Pete - Edinburgh in June

Jess and Pete had a beautiful urban wedding in the city centre surrounded by iconic architecture. They married in a simple ceremony conducted by a registrar at the City Chambers and then hosted an informal and relaxed reception close to home at The Granary restaurant, Leith.

The bride got ready at home with her family who had flown over from America and Ireland, and the groom and his son arrived together to welcome their guests. After the marriage ceremony we went into the streets for portraits, down winding alleys and amongst the iconic old buildings of Edinburgh. I joined the couple in their amazing camper van, hired from AbFab vintage vehicles, and the lovely driver took us down to the waterside of Leith.

The Granary put on a tasty buffet with all the couple's favourite foods, including dessert stations with Krispy Kreme doughnuts and sweets which were very popular! I enjoyed listening to the speeches and acoustic song performed by a family member, before the beautiful first dance.

"Natalie went above and beyond on our wedding day. She was not only our photographer but was able to coordinate people, getting everyone moving from a to b and had a good knowledge of the venue and what was required for things to run smoothly. This took a lot of stress away from me as a bride before the party started and I can’t thank her enough (I was very stressed!). We have just received the photographs and we are loving them and they are exactly what we wanted. She was able to capture ‘us’ and we will cherish the photos forever. You are definitely in great hands if you hire Natalie as your photographer. Thanks again, Natalie! Jess and Pete xx"
