Lochgreen House Hotel Wedding Photography Elegant, heartfelt, and filled with meaningful moments, this beautiful wedding at Lochgreen House Hotel in Troon was a perfect celebration of love and family. From the thoughtful details to the time spent surrounded by those who mattered most, it was clear that family was at the very heart of the day. As the evening unfolded, Lochgreen was treated to a stunning sunset, casting a warm, golden glow that created the most magical backdrop for portraits. Karen and Paul's wedding ceremony took place in the Orangery, beautifully decorated and flooded with natural light, creating the perfect setting for timeless photographs. I loved seeing the groom's emotional reaction to his beautiful bride walking down the aisle with her very proud father, and of course their daughter as the sweetest flower girl.
Lochgreen House Hotel is a dream setting for natural wedding photography, with gorgeous gardens and elegant grounds providing endless outdoor backdrops. Inside, there are just as many lovely options, from the ornate foyer to the grand wooden staircase—perfect for elegant and stylish portraits. Wherever you wander and whatever the weather, there are beautiful photo spots around every corner.
Karen and Paul gathered everyone together for their group shots in the gardens and at the front of the house beside the fountain - a lovely, classic spot with plenty of space. Afterwards, guests made their way into the elegant ballroom for dinner, where the soft ivory décor created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Before the meal was served, everyone enjoyed a round of lively, heartfelt and very funny speeches that had the room full of laughter.
As the day gently slipped into evening, we were treated to a gorgeous vivid pink and lilac sunset so I took the couple out to enjoy a few calm, content moments together that felt like a pause before the party really began. Soon after, Karen and Paul headed back inside where the atmosphere shifted into celebration mode, with live music filling the room and the dance floor packed all night. It was the perfect ending to the day: relaxed, joyful, and full of energy.
