Dreaming of an Italian destination wedding or elopement? A pre or post-wedding photoshoot might just be the element that your plans have been missing!
The day before their wedding, I got together with Megan and Charlie so we could finally meet in person, instead of just via video calls. I always say that if you're travelling to get married, make the most of every moment so I proposed an impromptu photoshoot as well which they were really keen for! We spent an hour exploring the surroundings of their wedding venue on Monte Isola, a beautiful small island on Lago de Iseo in Italy. We also captured some photos at Castello Oldofredi, where anticipation for the next day's festivities was building! The colours and Mediterranean light are truly breathtaking, making photography at this location like a dream come true every time I shoot there. These are some of my favourites from our spontaneous session!
I was so excited to get to know Megan and Charlie - they both started off feeling a little camera shy, but quickly discovered how relaxed and fun my approach is, so nerves completely went away. We strolled, chatted and laughed for an hour, then I left them to enjoy their intimate rehearsal dinner before their wedding the next day.
