Alison and Ewan's midsummer garden party wedding at Seton Gardens

There’s something truly special about a wedding at Seton Gardens, a beautiful marquee venue set within the historic walled gardens of East Lothian, with the striking silhouette of Seton Collegiate Church in the background and manicured lawns to celebrate on.
For this colourful and fun wedding, Alison and Ewan brought rustic farming-inspired details and joyful energy to every part of the day. The ceremony took place on the lawn in the walled garden under open skies, surrounded by family and friends, followed by relaxed portraits around the glorious grounds before dinner and dancing in the marquee. They chose to upgrade their coverage and add on a second photographer, which is something I recommend for weddings with over 100 guests, or where both parties are getting ready in different places.
If you’re planning your own wedding at Seton Gardens and are looking for a natural, relaxed wedding photographer in Scotland who will blend into your day while capturing real moments, take a look through the gallery and imagine your own celebration within these stunning garden walls.
We took a stroll down the lane for some quiet moments and took pictures in front of the beautiful historic Seton Collegiate Church. The path through the woods was lit by strings of festoon lights which gave things an extra glow!
The evening was rounded off with hilarious and heartfelt speeches before dinner and dancing. It's not secret that farmers sure know how to party! The trailer cocktail bar on the lawn was really popular and made a great addition.
I loved working at this fabulous venue, for this wonderful couple.
